Life is bright

Hi I’m Adlih and this is my video “about me.” My video is pretty complex so I’m here to explain it!
Everyone has a favourite colour, and mine is either orange or green. I chose orange and that’s why the background is orange, and why half the objects are orange and the other half are green. The video starts with the globe, positioned in the centre of my head, the globe represents the world ( as it always does) and it shows that I think about the bigger picture. It also shows that world is my oyster.

As well as the globe you might see my name spelt out in the ponytail of the girl. If you watch it throughout the video it will change to what the letters in my name stand for. Or what I hope my name stands for! If you continue to watch you should see objects circle the globe. These objects are things I am passionate about and make up my day to day life.

In the center of the globe my family is located, because they are the core part of my life. As well as the objects around the globe there are objects inside a wishbone by the girls chin. These are objects that I wish for, some are easy to understand, like new shoes ( the high heeled shoe ) but others you might have to think a little bit harder! The space ship is because I wish to go to space one day and become one of the few Canadian female astronauts!

Another thing I wish for might be, I also wish to one day become a professional surfer. I love the ocean and am a huge fan of practically walking on water! Some of the sillier wishes consist of driving a big cargo truck. Why? Haven’t you ever watch ice road truckers? Well is it such a stretch for me to be an ice road trucker?! I want to have that thrill of driving the biggest piece of machinery while on a massive sheet of ice! Sounds fun eh?

Whilst iceroad trucking, i would also like to travel the world. See some of the places the people treasure and find little nooks and cranies around the world. The world is there to explore and I want to developers knowledge about the whole world by being there and seeing it myself. I do wish for a good career and I wish to become a doctor. I know almost every child wants to become a doctor when there little, but I want to specialize in cancer treatment. And, like every kids dream, I want to be the best! Iceroad truckers may be a better route to go! There are many wishes so I will leave the rest for you to figure out so, lastly there should be a sun that appears around the girls neck area, and in the sun there should be the atom sign. This represents how life is bright. Something I must remember time in and time out. There are so many positive things in one day, and even though we know that we always get worked up over the little things.

For science I had to create a video about lab safety. Before you watch the video I though I could just talk about what my group and I did to make it and what we learned from this video.
To make this video, we had to plan ahead and make sure that we had the equipment to create a safety video. Me and my group also needed to write script and create roles.
While creating a video, I also learned important things that will help in the future. I learned all the lab safety, like don’t eat in the lab or you may die, don’t light fires in the lab or you may die, don’t leave the gas nozzle on open or you may die. Ya ya. But I also learned things like, how to properly prepare your self for a group project and how to time manage properly. Our video has added humour and I got to learn about humour and how much is to much! Anyway I hope you enjoy our video, and learn what to do and what not to do in the lab!
