Every week seems to get more intense than the last, with this week involving the steps taken to complete our second episode. In my first draft, my narrations were very hard to hear and did not sound the best so moving I decided to re-record my whole script. I used my brother’s “Blue Snowball Mic” with a program called Audacity, to use the mic to the full extent.

Audacity allowed me to learn how to modify my voice to sound more whole using plug-ins. Using tutorials I eventually got plug-ins working after many problems. I added the same four plug-ins to my audio, to make it more whole, add bass/treble, remove hissing and top it off with a little bit of reverb. Learning the plug-ins not only helped the sound quality of the podcast but I learnt a skill I can use in the future. I will most likely use Audacity again for our third episode and keep improving my quality every time I get more used to the program.
