Hi blog!! Iโm posting twice today, that might be a first. Iโm here for a different kind of post, weekly reflection. I was excited when I first found out about these. I will often have ideas and thoughts throughout learning that there isnโt room to express in my final posts or assignments so I can talk about them here.
This week was special because we started a new project and instead of going to school with half of my class, everyone is there. The beginning of the project is a fresh start, and I am making sure I use this by staying on top of things. I think Iโve been pretty organized this year.
I think itโs always interesting when you realize you are using what you have learned in other parts of life. This week I was doing French work and there was a question about identity, I think itโs cool I knew exactly what I would answer because I had learned about identity in the podcast project. Another thing about identity is that this week in class we talked about how we are finding our identities, and other grades havenโt really thought about that yet. Itโs an interesting topic including learning about Canadian identity in this current project.
The current project asks who is the greatest Canadian? Weโre really only in the building knowledge stage of the project. Iโve started learning what it means to be great and looking at what the next steps of this project are. One of those next steps is choosing a person who I can argue is the greatest Canadian. The person should also tie into the theme of my podcast as I will be making a full episode by the end of this. It might be hard to do that, but I do have some ideas in mind, my theme is relevant subjects so I could choose a person who is somehow connected to a chosen topic for that episode. I have a few ideas.
Overall this week was successful. I finished one project and started another. I am eager to continue this project and am excited to start making a podcast. This has been my first weekly reflection, it was short but I made the points that I wanted to. Weekly meaning I will be posting next week so see you then!
