šŸ˜„ Hello there guys! Today, Iā€™m back with another Student Blogging Challenge with emojis! For this challenge, we had to create a story using random emojis. šŸ˜‹šŸ„øšŸ¤©šŸ¤“

Letā€™s get started! šŸ‘

First off, we used a website called byrdseed to generate the emojis. From the emojis we received, we were challenged to write a story surrounding them. šŸ˜°

Hereā€™s mine…

I challenge you to try this yourself since I had a blast trying to come up with a story that had to do with shrimp and cake! (Itā€™s harder than it looks lol šŸ˜‚)

The next step is where the story spine came into play.

The story spine is a formula that many movies/books (including Pixar šŸ˜®) use to organize their stories. Recently, weā€™ve been learning about the many ways to plot out a story, including this formula and the story mountain.

Iā€™ve attempted to utilize the story spine to write my story. When I write my personal stories, I donā€™t typically follow a plot diagram like this, so it was unusual for me. However, Iā€™ll definitely keep this is in mind for my future projects! šŸ§

Anyways… I hope you enjoy my story! šŸ˜¬

(šŸ¤) Once upon a time… there was a shrimp. His name was Fred, and he loved to bake. Ever since he was a young shrimp, he adored baking for his family. He dreamed to make a career out of his passion for baking, and loved the idea of baking for more than just his family. When he was older, he saved up enough money to buy his own dream bakery where he would be able to bake for the whole ocean!

( šŸ°) Every day… the shrimp happily opened his bakery, and find satisfaction in flipping the open sign at the beginning of the day. His favourite thing to bake was his famous strawberry cheesecake… with just a hint of fresh vanilla bean as his secret ingredient.

(šŸŽ§) But, one day… he bought a brand new pair of headphones so that he could listen to music while he worked. It was great, and he was far more productive with them! He was able to take more orders than ever before, and his bakery became famous among all of the oceanā€™s creatures. Unfortunately, it was inevitable that he would eventually become distracted by the music, and on Wednesday evening, he forgot to lock the door to his bakery when he left for the night.

(šŸŽ)Because of that… at 3am that night, a band of seahorses broke into his bakery. They stole all of his secret recipes (including the recipe for his famous strawberry cheesecake), took his hard earned money, and destroyed all his supplies. When Fred returned to his bakery the next morning, he choked back a gasp as he stared at his dream bakery, which was in tatters and ruin.

(šŸ˜‘)Because of that… he urgently called the local authorities for assistance. Fred almost smiled in relief when he saw a detective approach his bakery. The detective looked around at the crime scene in suspicion, her eyes winced and mouth set like a straight line.

(šŸš” )Until, finally… After a couple of quick glances, the detective turned around with a delighted grin and a discarded business card clutched in her fin. They had found the culprit behind this scheme, which turned out to be the owner of Fredā€™s main competitor. The fellow baker had sabotaged Fredā€™s business in hopes that they would have gotten more people to buy from them instead. That afternoon, Fred watched as the baker was thrown into a police vehicle and swept away into the distance. In the end, his bakery would never get stolen from ever again, and he would live on to become the greatest shrimp baker in history.

When I reflect back on this story, it was probably one of the weirdest things Iā€™ve ever written (besides that one story I wrote in Grade 5 about pineapples and spies, that was definitely the weirdest and the worst šŸ˜«)

However, in the end, I had fun… and I believe thatā€™s all that matters!

Thank you so much for reading, and Iā€™ll blog with yā€™all later! šŸ„³
