*render out animation for video

It’s been a a few weeks now since we have been assigned this project and I’d like to say that this has been the best project we have gotten the chance to work on. I have spent over 30 hours working on this project and the reason I’ve spent so much time working on it is because it’s my passion I get to do my passion for school it’s just suck an amazing idea. This project has shown me the true difficulty that animators go through to actually finish a film. I’ve had to persevere to finish allot of it because of how hard it is to make smooth movement. I’ve finished all of the animation and all of the rigging and comparison between simple and complex animation, now all I have to do is put all my videos together and finish the project. After I’ve put my voice and edited all my footage toggether I’ll need to present it to all the people who are invited to exhibition night. All that to end such a great project that is filled with inspiration.

Update

So as you can see from the list above I’ve finished some of my “to-do list”  from it I’ve finished all of my basic setup task’s so now I can move onto doing the animation. For the animation I plan on making the walking animation as smooth as I can, so it looks as clean and professional as it can be. This for me will most likely be the most difficult part because an animation that’s not consistent looks unorganized and odd. A unclean animation is what can completely ruin an animation. If you had a walking animation and you have a person walking forward but his legs where unnaturally moving like a pair of sticks then you would think to yourself “now what is he doing exactly?” It would just feel super unnatural and awkward. But if it was smooth and looked like the person was not walking like he had sticks for legs it would feel natural and pleasant to watch. So if you haven’t picked up on what I’m saying yet, I’m basically saying that walking animations are what make or break a scene.

The American revolution

here’s a tale of how America started and how it came to what it is today

Our journey begins at  Plymouth Rock where the pilgrims landed a shore in America. At first it was nice people had started to colonize America and all was good but… The king of England sent troops to help protect the Americans but he also taxed the Americans for having troops there at first it seemed ok till the king started taxation without representation and this didn’t settle well with the Americans. Later the Americans started to tar and feather the tax collectors. Then there was the stamps… Basically the stamps where prof that you paid the tax on the item you purchased seems ok right? Nah you had to pay for the stamps them selves and that didn’t count the tax that you paid they straight up charged for paying you’re tax. So what did the “tax payers” do? Hey started to make false stamps that had skulls and death symbols on them as a rebellion. Also the king decide to tax them on there tea and this lead to the Boston tea party, the tea party was not a tea party but was a mass collection of people that took all the tea they had a dumped it in the ocean. Later after that war was declared among the two and the fought for a few years then the French came and helped the Americans the British felt overwhelmed and left Americans alone. not much later after the war ended the Americans came up with the “Declaration Of Independence” which gave the people freedom and this gave Americans freedom and rights his also drove all hope of the British regaining control over America. fast forward a two one hundred and a few years and you got modern American and to say the least not much has changed polittacly since then.

Explanation

Here is where I explain what I’m going to be doing with each of those steps above.

First I’ll need to make a character to animate and then give it articulation so I can have full control over it’s different joints and have a full independent control over each moving part. Then I’ll need to animate it so for that I’ll need to make a walking animation or any other possible animations that I can do(waving, jumping, falling.) after that I’ll need to render out the all the animation so I have a video footage for my blue sky video. After that I’ll be puting an example of simple animation into my video which I already have pre done because  my question is about complex rigging and how it’s different from simple animation so my video primarily focuses on complex rigging.

Once I have all my footage from I’ll start to piece my video together and do my voice overs and all other necessary things that are need to be finished. After I’ve finished my video I’ll start to make a set up for the actual exposition and get set up for that night then present my “skill” in the art of animation.

Was it really a win?

So the English civil war, the king and Parlement fought a bunch parlement came on top and the king was killed. But did they really win? Did they really gain anything from taking over the king? Well in this post I’d like to explain there wins and losses.

We start our overlook here at the end of all the fighting, the parelemt has just won  the people are free, right? Well not exactly just because there is no more king it doesn’t mean that all the social injustice has left aswell presents are still being treated as they where before, taxes are still high and the rich still have some power.

first let’s look at the pro’s of being without a king. Well if you haven’t noticed nothing really nice happened after the Kings death a lot of nasty things happened. With Cromwell gaining power he divided england into 11 different areas each with its own governor. He also banned colourful clothing and makeup, he changed the saints days and many other things. After a piriod of time the people of England grew sick and tired of Cromwell and started to think they wanted there king back.

after 20 some odd years King Charles the second regained power of England during a period known as the restoration. He later restored peace among Ireland, Scotland, England.

So with this in mind I can safely say that the English Civil War was not a win it was quit clearly a loss to the people of England and was a huge mistake.

Elizbethan Music

We had to do a project about Elizbethans and their activities compaired to today’s people and their activities. We got assigned in pairs to make the project and then we got assigned an activity/thing (eg. Food, sports). My partner and I received the topic of Elizabethan music which I was very disappointed in because I was more interested in investigating their food choices. Well the project had a tight timeline we tried to make it look the best we could. I made a script in about five minutes at home, I came up with a two paragraph script which I thought was great. Then came presentation day and to say the least I was scared to the bone, we had worked but I felt that something was going to go wrong and very fast. Our presentation was short, lasting only about two minutes, then it was all over. Oh the relief that it went well just sank into me! I felt good about myself for once.

Over view of life so far

So as a conclusion to the other four blog posts I would have I have had a some what decent half a year. it’s been fun but now its time to prepare for the next half, and that means living upto my goals and well just doing better in general. Overall I’d like to say thank you to my teachers for the awesome half year so far and that I can’t wait to see what is in store next.

Goals

So it’s time to explain to you all about my goals for the next half of the year…

1) Humanities/ to work the hardest I can and to put out the highest quality content I can produce.

2) science/ to put more effort in my science work and to polish my projects a lot more.

3) personal/ limit access to social media.

My year so far

So in the term and a half that I’ve been in PLP I must say I have really  enjoyed PLP overall. It has been fun I will say being in the Flight Hanger is a lot of fun because we are constantly doing stuff and we are always having fun no matter what. I’d like to say that even though we have a lot of fun there is still a HUGE amount of work to be done.

Going to Seattle was fun but there was constant work and almost no time to rest, so I think I have never been on a tighter schedule in my life. From one place to the next non stop, we went to almost all the tourists attraction in Seattle which was awesome.

We have also done many in-class activities that required tons of work, such as the Frankenstuffies. It was not my favourite of them all but it was still fun nonetheless. A lot of work and many steps went into just making the stuffy itself, then we had to make a video explaining how it worked and how it was created. After all that we hung the stuffies on the celling of the flight hanger.

Science projects

Well we have worked on about two projects in science so far and one of those two was “cancer project”, where we needed to find a type of cancer and make a slide show for it (of course I deleted all my media so I have nothing to show you when it comes to images but I can still tell you about it).

I choose “lung cancer” and well let’s say I almost threw up several times while researching and I feel that my chances of becoming a smoker just went down the drain. It isn’t the most pleasnt thing to see “cancerous lungs” because they look like someone spread dried cottage cheese in a hunk of meat and lit it on fire.

We also had to define what cancer is and how it works which meant that for this project I pulled in roughly 3hrs of research, and while I failed on presentation and looks, my info was there even though it was very little it was great information.

And I will not put an image of a cancerous lung in this post. I will put a link to an image for those who are curious: http://youtu.be/Gxi30t_WwNM
