Relaxed & Ready To Go

Today marks the start of our third term. I hope everyone has had a restful or relaxing spring break. I look forward to hearing students share their vacation stories.

I spent time in Oregon and Northern California. Lots of rain, but there was a window of nice weather, so I sat on the edge of a cliff and played guitar for a while. When you can just sit, play some music and watch the waves roll by, you know you are on a vacation.

There will be some catching up to do, now that I am back. If you sent me an email in the last two weeks, I have not read it yet. I unplugged for the break, so no email, twitter or blogging was done. I will get to the electronic world soon today.

The world of teacher contracts and Bill 22 will continue to provide ample fodder for discussion. I do not yet know the implications of the new legislation, but hopefully this week will provide some clarity. No matter what the outcome, we will continue to work on maintaining a positive school culture, thanks to the teachers, staff, students and parents.

Students are starting to arrive, so I will sign off and go out to chat with them.

Have a good day.

Take care.
