Science is one of the subjects I look forward to most, we have done a bunch of fun projects this year. The first project we did was on the states of matter. We researched the states of matter and then we decided we were going to make a motive on it. I made the movie with my best friend Sam .

Our movie was called Mr.cube the states of matter.

Lately we have been working with microscopes we have looked at several different things such as insect wings, bee stingers, heart muscles, and grasshopper heads. We did a very long worksheet learning about the different parts and lens of the microscope.

I had never used a microscope before and I never knew that it had so many parts, and twisting knobs and stuff. My class was using two different types of microscopes, there was L.E.D and the other was some really fancy intermediate microscope.

That is one part of the worksheet on the microscope. I’m going to show some of the specimens we looked at threw the microscope I tried my best to take pictures of them through the microscope.

My favorite part of science this year has definitely been the microscopes they are so cool to look at insects and different creatures up to 1000 times bigger than original size. Learning about matter was really cool as well because before the matter unit I did not know that everything was made up of matter.
