Task 1: Skiing.

I’ve been skiing for a long time. When I was three years old my dad bought me a pair of skis, signed me up for ski lessons on mt. Seymour and dropped me off at the top of the mountain. I slowly learned how to ski. My dad took me up to the mountain often and I started to get better. Eventually I surpassed his skill level and he signed me up for lessons at Whistler. The course he signed me up for was called MAP. That was two years ago and I’m still doing MAP as there’s different skill groups for the same course. That is how I started my passion.

I love skiing. There are many different types of skiing. There is racing, big mountain, freeride and park to name a few. Freeride is by far my favourite type of skiing. There’s so much to do. You can send drops, hit big tricks and race down the mountain at full speed. It is basically all the types of skiing combined. That is why I love it so much. As the ski season is right around the corner I am getting out all my ski stuff and making sure everything fits. Once ski season start I will be up the mountain 90% of the time.

As an avid skier I encourage you to try it! Its really fun and has only a little learning curve. Once you get the basics down you can progress so fast! You could sign up for a lesson and get even better. Skiing is also a very social sport so if you’re looking for some new friends skiing is a great way to meet new people.

Task 2: For task 2 we had to add a tracker widget to our blog to see where people have visited my blog from. I chose the clustrmaps revolver globe. I chose this one because it is functional and I think it looks good. I chose the globe because I thought it would be unique and be a nice addition to my blog. To find it, all you have to do is open one of my posts, scroll down to the bottom and you should see it on the right. It will automatically spin so you can easily see where everyone’s from!
