Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today I will be posting about my passion for horses and horseback riding. Why did I choose horseback riding you may ask? Well it started when I fell in love with horses after going to the Calgary Stampede in 2018. I then started horseback riding and I have been ever since. Β

I ride twice a week, on Thursday’s and on Saturdays. On Thursdays I ride a horse named Honey, who I love and I to do everything on her. On Honey I do walk, trot, canter, jump, do ground work on, and do bareback. On Saturdays I usually ride a different horse every week depending on what we are doing in the lesson.

My favourite things to do are jumping and bareback. Bareback is when you ride a horse without the saddle and jumping is when your instructor or you sets up jumps to go over.Β

Horseback riding is something people do all around the world. One of my favourite YouTubers is This Esme. She makes videos of her riding, organizing tack, being with her horses, and more. Down below is one of my favourite videos she has posted because another thing you may know about me is that I love to organize.

Horseback riding is a great sport and I love to do it. Horseback riding also is good for a lot of things like it develops core strength, improves coordination, it develops problem solving skills, and encourages trust.
