Hello blogreaders,

I can’t believe it’s my 6th presentation of learning, whether they have been called SLC, Mpol, or Tpol, they were all trying to show you guys my learning. Since my last Mpol, I have learned a lot and gained so many skills, as I should. Today, I’m going to be sharing something I’m proud of, something I learned a lot from, and a skill I improved on.

What Am I Most Proud Of?

Something I’m proud of is my WWII podcast. This podcast was definitely something I enjoyed doing. First of all learning about podcast making in Chinatown really stuck with me. Secondly the interview we did with the veteran was just amazing and a huge moment for me that I won’t forget. It was lots of fun and it helped me make a wonderful result.

Learning At The Maximum

Everyday I’m learning new things, that’s the point of school. Every unit, every project, I gain new information that I plan to take with me into my future. It was really hard to decide what I learned the most from but it was definitely the flow like water math project. This was a partner project that I did alone but because of that I focused extra hard and had to learn and do so much for the project. I used all my curricular competency’s and I fully pushed myself out of my comfort zone when I presented the keynote by myself. Overall, this project took me out of my comfort zone but taught me a lot about being independent and working hard, and I carried that into other projects.

Getting Those Skills

Grade 10 has been one of those years that keeps on giving me memorable skills. One thing that I want to talk about though is the skills that PGP has provided me. Especially with one of our final projects in PGP, the time machine project. I was able to put together all the wonderful skills I have learnt. Those skills are things I’m going to take with me into the future. The whole reason I put those habits into my time machine project was because of how much they impacted me and taught me.

Goals Moving On

My goals moving on are very simple. I’ve already become a pro at time management and having a schedule. During our BC trip, I was the schedule keeper and I lived by our schedule. I have one of those for myself that I’m constantly using. Since I’ve already achieved my goal of time managing and having a schedule, my new goal is to make time to follow my hobbies. If I am able to free up this time, I will be able to draw more, paint more, and skate more.

Reflection

Dealing with the future is hard because you never know what to expect, but I believe as the years go on, I keep getting better and better at it. This year has definitely had it’s ups and downs but as always I am excited for next year and I hope I’m able to handle it. I feel as though I am ready to advance to the next grade because I have gained all the possible knowledge I could get from this year.
