During the creation of my synthesis essay I faced many up and downs on a emotional level. I have happy and proud of my work then I visited Mr Hughes and he shredded those feeling like a hawk to its prey. I came back to him through perseverance and pushed though the sadness. What I found most challenging was giving a explanation of my quotes. I was told by Ms Willemse that my quotes were air tight I just needed a better way to explain them. Finally I found What I thought was great explanations for great quotes. They were in Mr Hughes opinion ” better “. After 30 minutes of this back and forth between both teachers and I we found great explanations. The was not really a easy part to me but the easiest thing to me was introduction paragraph. I think it was so easy because all it was on mine was two sentences i had my hook and then I had my thesis. Next time I do a synthesis essay I still want to get more sound explanations. I know I said that they were perfect. But to me the main goodies of a good synthesis essay is the explanation. Overall I’m glad we wrote this because I believe it helped my overall writing
