PLP8 Oregon

On our first Field study trip, we went to Oregon.

This trip was so much fun, we’ve been to those beautiful beaches, different kinds of museums and labs, and different places that had special buildings. My favorite one was the light house that we went to, and the quest we did was my favorite one too. We did advertisements for a Oregon local businesses and my group’s business was the most delicious one- nisa’s thai. It had the best comment of all of the other businesses on google maps, and their flaming beef was amazing.

In the night there will be five people staying in a yurt, and sometimes we had campfire and marshmallows.

    Book

On the trip we were also working on our own books about the trip, definitely check out my.

What I’ve learned
Me and my friends were having a good time, especially when we were doing activities together. I could’ve done better for the business interview, my questions were kinda bad, I will take more time to think about the questions for the next time. And everything else was great.

I have learned a lots of things during this trip, first I have learned a lots of history about America, when we were at the museum/Astoria columns me and my friends were having such a fun time with throwing those wooden airplanes, but we also studied what happened and why did they build that huge tower up that hill.

Secondly we went to another museum to study about life saving and stuff. We had a  fun time with trying out the life jacket, and dance with it. We also learned about some knowledge about the First Nation things, not as fun but really interesting.

And thirdly, we went to a military base(used to be). It was a military base for defending the Japanese during the World War Two, but then after the war, people built a museum beside it, and that is why we were there. We did our first out of three quest out there and my group won. All of the stuff was amazing out there, even though it was old and stinky, but I liked it anyway.

And the fourth place that we went on was the science center, we studied crabs, whales and Submarine. Of course we didn’t do all of them in a single day, we spent 2 days there. We learned how to assemble whales bones , and how to build a submarine.

And after learning we had a short time to check out the other stuff that is in the museum.

my favorite one is the Tsunami machine, the one that you built stuff and then click the tsunami button, and see if your stuff is still gonna exist after a giant wave.

Lastly we went to another museum/beach. This time the landscape was actually incredible!! And there was a giant light house too, but we didn’t get in that tower. The beach was so beautiful, we saw so many intertidal animals especially sea urchins.
