The More Things Change reflection

Yessir y’all know the vibez we got another banger let’s go. So this blog post is a reflection on my project which was about European colonization. The driving question was “ what did European settlement mean for all the people involved?” This we went through all the history that led to what now is North America.

So to answer the driving question we had to make a thesis statement which was, We came to conclusion that European settlement resulted in the exchange of goods for all people involved. The European demand for furs changed the culture of both the First Nations people and the settlers to be more focused upon trade and economy. The importance of trade and alliances is still relevant today. We came to this conclusion that if it wasn’t for the Europeans coming Canada would be less advanced because the fur trade gave the First Nations power and if the Europeans didn’t colonize I don’t know were we would be. The Europeans also advanced all of North America. But if the Europeans didn’t come the environment would be better so more animals and trees. Also the Europeans abused and took away the First Nations land and their beliefs.

So this is a picture of our final project we had to make about 7 versions of this and how we improved was our gallery walk in which we put photos of our infographic and people either put something they liked something that we could improve on  and something that stood out. We did this twice and improved. I also liked the video that we made it was fun and taught me lot.

Overall this experience taught me lots about our history and how we came to be now. It’s really interesting and I want to go into more detail about learning about the 7 year war and about the big battles and just every detail. So thanks for reading my blog and hear is the video we made
