Fire Fighter for a DAY April 17

If you are considering a career in fire fighting, policing, paramedic, the military or any part of emergency services you should attend the FIRE FIGHTER FOR A DAY event April 17.

Only 5 Grade 11/12 students can participate  >>>>> MALE or FEMALE

You will get to play at firefighting in full gear….go into a smoky building…rapel the outside…..go up in a ladder truck, etc…….by the end of this day you will know whether or not  a career in emergency services is for you!!

CITYFEST 2013 Volunteers Needed !

EVENT DAY : MAY 4th, 2013 at Centennial Theatre Parking Lot

CITYFEST IS AN ANNUAL COMMUNITY EVENT CELEBRATING YOUTH !!

YOUTH VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED TO MAKE THIS EVENT A SUCCESS !

Areas where volunteers needed –

Making Cotton Candy

Setting up the Venue

Running the Skateboard Competition

Thousands of people come to enjoy local performances from music to magic as well as various food vendors and exhibition. If you would like to participate you will be required to attend a 2 hour info session on Thursday, May 2nd @ 3:30 PM at the North Shore Alliance Church.

Minimum Commitment – 4 hours shift.
