I Can Fly Program 2014 (Cathay Pacific)

Due to its success, Cathay Pacific is proud to announce ‘I Can Fly’
Vancouver, Spring 2014. A program that offers Grade 11 high school
students the opportunity to step behind the scenes of commercial
aviation and explore various careers in this exciting industry.

We provide an 8-week Academy that meets once a week to help students
explore various careers in aviation.

Through a series of field trips, lectures and hands-on exercises,
participants will learn everything about aviation from engineering
to inflight catering, and even meet real pilots and flight
attendants.

The program is provided free of charge to Grade 11 high school
students in the Greater Vancouver Area. Applications are being
accepted now.

Law Day 2014 Open House North Vancouver Courthouse

 

North Shore Family Court and Youth Justice Committee (NSFCYJC),  invites you to our upcoming Law Day 2014 Open House at the North Vancouver Courthouse on Saturday April 12th, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Attendees of Law Day will have an opportunity to hear a number of presentations regarding various matters dealt with by the North Vancouver Provincial Courthouse including Criminal, Family, Youth, and First Nation courts.  The police will kick-start the event with a “simulated” crime scene to give the public an awareness of what happens from a 911 call through to sentencing and conviction.
