Camp Ignite (Summer Women firefighter program)

Not just for girls who want to be Firefighters, but for any girl in grade 9-12 who wants to challenge herself, build confidence and have a unique experience!
Every summer female firefighters from the lower mainland get together to host a camp for young women interested in learning about a career as a firefighter, empowering themselves as strong women and having a lot of fun!  Each municipality sponsors one to two girls from high schools in their area (yes, that means there is no cost to the girls).

It is not essential that you  have firefighting as one of your future career options.
Camp Ignite runs August 7-10 and is an overnight camp. DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS JUNE 9, 2014
If interested, please see Ms. Parmar for application !!
