BE A PEDALHEADS INSTRUCTOR! No previous instructor experience necessary. If you can ride a bike, we want to hear from you!

 
Details of the paid instructor position:
  • Instruct children from the beginner biking stage all the way to more advanced skill levels (road riding and mountain biking)
  • If students are able to ride a bike there will be a place for them to work as isntructors (They do not have to be experts!)
  • Must be available to work at least one week of March Break (March 13-17 & March 20-24)

*Preference given to those that are available both weeks

  • Must be available from 8am – 4pm each day
  • First Aid is a major asset
  • Must have access to a bike and helmet

Details of the volunteer position:

  • Volunteers (Jr. Instructors) will assist instructors with teaching kids of various biking skill levels (ex. Setting up obstacle courses and riding with classes)
  • Must be available for at least one full week of half day camps
  • All those that apply to become volunteers (grade 8’s and 9’s) will be accepted!

Rack Stop Stores Ltd. is looking for a competent and hard working individual to work as a sales associate in our North Vancouver store.  The successful candidate will need to be an outward focused people person, with a willingness to go above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service.  Some mechanical aptitude is also a plus, and sales or retail experience is preferred, although not required. Job Description
Responsibilities will include:
* Selling merchandise to customers, providing excellent customer service.
* Installing and maintaining customers’ racks and other purchases.
* Receiving deliveries and processing inventory.
* Ordering merchandise from distributors.
* Writing out work orders and adding them to a work schedule.
* Report to the sales supervisor on a regular basis.

We have full time and part time positions available, up to 40 hours a week, with some weekends and holiday work required.  We are open 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 11am to 5pm Sundays and holidays, typical work pattern is an 8-hour shift within that timeframe.

Application Deadline is March 10, 2017.  Priority will be given to Grade 12 students. All applicants should be Grade 11 or above.

Requirements: For consideration into this program, your completed applications must include a written statement on why you are suitable for the program.  This short 150-200 word essay will be prompted for during your registration.
