This action-packed week will be frilled with demos and hands-on training in graphic design, interior design, 3D animation, fashion design, and more. Explore our downtown Vancouver campus and, as a bonus, you’ll come away with 30 hours of work experience.

Visual Arts Summer Intensive with Arts Umbrella

Want to push the boundaries of your artistic practice? This three-week visual arts intensive is designed for artists ages 15-19,  interested in a challenge and ready to experiment with their art-making. In a supportive studio environment, you’ll work with professional Vancouver artists, curators, and educators, exploring a range of contemporary art practices in the visual arts through a series of artist workshops. Students also view works of art, and engage in critiques and discussions about how to develop ideas and work with new materials. The program culminates in an exhibition at the Contemporary Art Gallery.
Program Dates : Aug 6 -23, 2019, 1:00-4:00 pm
Program Fees : Covered by full scholarship

BC RCMP Online Youth Advisory Committee

The BC RCMP Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is an online social media based committee focused on discussing key youth issues and providing guidance to the RCMP. Usually, we do coordinate one large gathering near spring break and/or regional meetings with no cost to the youth. We have a 15 spots still available for the 2018/2019 school year.
If you are looking for an interesting volunteer opportunity, and has a passion for contributing to change, this might be a good opportunity.
