Program Registration

We will be hosting four separate YLM groups with different start dates this year. Our first cohort is anticipated to start May, 2022 – Spots are filling up fast!

Our registration process

An eight-month program isn’t a small commitment – we think it’s important for us to learn more about each other and make sure that our goals match with yours! 

After you complete the online registration form, we will contact you to schedule an interview via Zoom.

Our program

The Youth Leadership Millennium (YLM) is an 8-month program dedicated to helping young people aged 15-30 in areas of personal and leadership development.

Since 1998, we have helped transform the lives of more than 900 graduates.

  • adventure expedition

Who can join

We are a diverse and inclusive program. We encourage youth from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds to apply.

Our three eligibility criteria are:

  • Anyone between ages of 15 to 30 years
  • Canadian citizens or permanent residents
  • Reside in Metro Vancouver

Program outcomes

Upon successful completion of the YLM program, youth participants will receive:

  • S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Youth Leadership Millennium (YLM) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Official Letter of Reference from YLM

Program details

Each year, we organize a series of activities, workshops, and events that are not only fun, but also encourage personal growth, increase participants’ social awareness and physical strength, and facilitate creative and positive change in our community!

Unique experiences

We take a holistic approach to develop well-rounded leadership. Activities could include:

  • team-based community projects
  • learning the ropes of public speaking
  • outdoor activities such as hiking and camping
  • life skills workshops on communication and conflict resolution
  • volunteer opportunities
  • individualized coaching sessions with a YLM Youth Worker
