In my humanities class, we have been learning about different aspects of World War II. Along with the major battles and turning points (Blitzkrieg, Operation Barbarossa, Pearl Harbour…), we learned about the countries that were involved and their contributions to the war. As we’ve moved through different periods of time in the war, we focussed on what was happening in different countries. One part of our unit, was reading a WWII novel focussed on a certain country or group of people. The book that I chose, was called Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein, which focused on the British who fought the German troops who occupied France.

This book showed me a new perspective of World War II which I really enjoyed. After reading the book, I made a review that encompasses all of my thoughts about the main events that took place (I promise there’s no spoilers!)

Enjoy reading my book Review: Code Name Verity Review
