Student Blogging Challenge (2021)

Greetings! Welcome to my student blogging challenge for 2021. As you all know, this year has been crazy all around the world, but it also had some positive impacts on my life. At the start of this all, I grew to be bored of watching YouTube or playing video games, so to change things up, I decided I would give mountain biking a go.

After getting my first mountain bike, I grew more and more into the sport, and it made me realize this was the thing to keep me busy over these challenging times. Mountain biking has had a significant impact on physical education and how good it can be for your everyday life. After getting into mountain biking, my passion for mountain biking grew stronger over the weeks. I started mountain biking around September 2020. The bike that I had was an old but reliable bike. I had a 2007 Trek session 77. Here is a picture of my old bike that I used to have right when I began mountain biking. After riding for almost a year I thought it was time to get a new bike, so I ended putting in 500$ of my own money to contact a 2013 Devinci Wilson. Here is a picture of that bike,   Anyway, enough about my favourite sport. As you read from the title, this is a student blogging challenge, and you may be wondering, “What is a student blogging challenge?” Well, it’s something the teachers challenge us to do to strengthen our blogging technique and to learn what we should improve on our blogs. The teachers also ask us to choose a topic that we love or like to do.

For example, I chose mountain biking. People who I look up to are my teachers. They are amazing people and have helped me push through so many barriers. I encourage you to check out one of my teachers blog as well. Here is Mrs. Maxwell’s blog (my Maker teacher). I’ve also found some insperational videos on how to blog like a boss which has helped me succeed in my blogging.

I like to focus on my work product as well, working is the number one key to success in life, and I’ve had projects I love in PLP 8. There are some I don’t like. For example, one project I wanted was the Laser Laws project in Scimatics 8. Here is one of the Milestones we did in Scimatics 8: Scimatics Milestone 4 And that’s my student blogging challenge! I encourage you to check out some of my other blogs as they all include information about me and tell you a little bit about what it’s like to work in PLP. Thanks for checking out my blog, and until next time!
