The Power Of The West A.K.A Alberta/B.C.

Hello fellow bloggers, welcome back to my blog again.

Today I will be writing a long post and this post is about the power of geography in the west.
The driving question for this project evolves around the whole adventure I will be taking you through about the FIELD TRIP we went on and also, the MINI-EXHIBITION but thats for later now we will focus on how amazing the trip was to Alberta and what we did.

Our first stop on the trip was the last spike and it was a great one to kick us off with a historic story. If you don’t know about the last spike it is the end of the western part of the Canadian pacific railway.

Then we spent the night at days inn which was my favourite hotel on the trip because of the breakfast I am talking 🥞 🥓🍳 🍊 juice it was delicious. Also, there was a water slide and we got our own room with a tv. I had a room with Silas, and Tom.

Then the second day we went to the golden skybridge which was my favourite part because we crossed a 21 house high bridge and went zip lining. Here are some pics!

Now the third day was amazing as well because we endured on a museum walk in the cave and basin a natural hot spring found by three brothers in the B.C. Gold rush. Here are some pics!

Then on day four we went to lake minnewanka which was a fun tour of the lake and we got old stories about the First Nations living on the lake here are some pics!

Then for our fifth day of reflection we went to sundre museum where we learned about the historic little town and all about it here are some pics on my adventure through sundre museum and a video of pioneer village which was right beside it.

The next place we went to was dry heeled on the sixth day and it was fun we got to see many fossils and also got to create a video on my favourite dinosaur.

here are some images and the video.

for the seventh reflection we did The head smashed in buffalo jump if you don’t know the head smashed in buffalo jump is a jump that killed hundreds of bison/buffalo back then and fed many first-nations tribes which helped them survive the winter here are some pics of it!

Now for reflection eight, the eighth day we went on the pipe mountain coaster which was an awesome experience here is a video of everyone going down it!

Now I will be showing you some extra stuff like how we would reflect on the days I talked about is all based on this right here the five themes of geography.

Now after the trip we did a keynote on reflecting on the history of the time period in Vancouver/ Vancouver island.

Now, after we gained knowledge an everything while we were on the trip we were adding things to our ebook and here is mine that I showed at the exhibition etc.

EBOOK

The exhibition was fantastic I had five people come to my station and they loved my presentation and my connections to the trip and also my designs and my talking during the presentation.

Thank you for listening to the power of geography

Thanks CameronBR
