This is my poetry ebook I created during our project, Working with Words, I am very proud of my Imagery Poem, so know that before reading. Thank you for reading.

In this project we learned a lot, so much in fact, that I could put anyone to sleep with boredom alone, but I’ll give you the short details

Different Types of Poems

Different types of Poems include Similes, Metaphors and Onomatopoeia, but if you don’t know what they are, here’s a guide.

Simile: A comparison of 2 Unlike things using like or as

Metaphor: A Comparison of 2 unlike things without using like or as

Haiku: A form of Japanese poetry with 3 lines, the first and third having 5 syllables, and the second having 7.

Onomatopoeia (I don’t know if I spelled it right): A word that sounds like the sound it is describing (Examples include Sploosh, Kaboom, Kersplat, and Kachow)
