Student Blogging Challenge- Music

Welcome back to the Student Blogging Challenge! This week’s challenge was all about music. There were a list of challenges that we had to choose three from.

Part 1:

For my first one, I decided to create a playlist with some of my favourite songs. I tried to keep the show tunes to a minimum to spare you all from my horrendous music taste. I’m going to go through some of the songs on the playlist and explain why I put them on the playlist. I won’t explain each song because that might are a while but I’ll include a few highlights

Here is the playlist

Seasons of Love- Rent: Seasons of Love is a classic showtune. It is, in a word, iconic. It has a recognizable melody and is just sentimental and wholesome.

No One But You (Only The Good Die Young)- Queen: Queen is one of my favourite bands. It is timeless and everyone can sing along to it. This is one of my favourite Queen songs so I thought I’d include it.

Grow As We Go- Ben Platt: Ben Platt is definitely one of my favourite musicians. He started his career on Broadway but he has released an album that is one of my favourites and I could listen to it all day. This is one of his most popular songs from his album Sing To Me Instead.

One- Sleeping At Last: this song is from another one of my favourite albums. This artist wrote a song that represents each Enneagram type, 1-9. If you didn’t know, an Enneagram type is a number that says something about your personality. There are many quizzes online to see what number you are. I decided to include One because that’s my enneagram number. If you enjoy listening to One, I strongly recommend the Enneagram album.

Part 2: survey

Here is a link to a survey I made! Please fill it out if you’d like!

Part 3:

For part three, I decided to make some music! This was a quick tune I made.

Thanks for reading my post about music!

Sincerely, Me
