Once upon a time there was a girl named Joanna.
Everyday she played with her cat
Until one day she met a frog and an octopus and became best friends with them
Because of that she decided to go on a boat and live in the ocean forever with her new best friends
Because of that her cat got mad because she wouldn’t play with him anymore
Until finally she gave her cat a cookie and he was happy forever

This was the story I created from the emoji prompts I was given for this week blogging challenge! The basis of this challenge was that we had to use a random emoji generator to create a story. This is about as silly as it sounds. I wasn’t quite sure where I should go with my story so I just went with the weirdest thing I thought of.
To create the plot, I used the story spine format we learned about for our ongoing project which I will be posting about pretty soon so keep an eye out for that! The story spine is an effective way of keeping track of a plot and planning stories.
