Student Blogging Challenge Reflection SBC#11

It’s been quite a grind completing the student blogging challenge, a lot of writing, thinking and reading, but its over now and I’m thankful. If I’m being frank, I really don’t like blogging that much, but this project got as good as blogging could get. The student blogging challenge our SBC as I call it, is a challenge sent out to all schools with blog pages. It originated in Australia and we got it. It was all about making our blogs look nice and clean. We learned how to add things to our blog that we never knew we could do before, like embedding links, videos, and photos. Most of it was just writing about chosen topics by the Aussies. I’m writing this post to show all that I’ve learned and reflect on what I’ve done

Day one: Updating Your Blog- updating your sites “About Me Page”

Day two: Quality Commenting- creating a Commenting Guidelines page

Day three: Embedding content- making a post that includes links, videos, and photos, I wrote mine on biking on the North Shore.

Day 4: Fun with Photos- Taking your own photo or drawing and describing it, mines a photo of my bike.

Day 5: Appearance and Widgets- Updating your home page with widgets.

Day 6: Music- Write a post about a group or song. I wrote mine on one of my favourite songs, Panama and the group who wrote it.

Day 7: Emojis- This one was a fun one. We either got to write about a story representing emojis or create an emoji quiz.

Day 8: Blog Like a Boss- this one was about putting all we learned into a summative blog post for Social Studies about one of our other projects

Day 9: Celebrations and Festivities- This one was to write about any festivities we liked I chose to write about Christmas.

Day 10: Free choice- For this one we got to write about anything we wanted, so like any sane human being I choose to write about a food delivery commercial.

So here we are at day 11. Looking back at all the great things we’ve accomplished over these few months. I feel proud of my self for completing this challenge and I have a certificate proving it:
