The Amazing World Of Ballet

If you’ve been thinking about trying out Ballet, but you don’t know how to get into it. This is the blog for you. First you should start by mentioning it to your parents to see what they think about it. If they’ve been considering it and you think your ready, you can start to look online for studios in your area to take some classes and start. Once you’ve found the studio that looks the nicest and works the best for you, you can buy the ballet attire required by the studio. For the first class you take it should be easy, not too hard, and teach you the basics of technique. If you find yourself confused by the taught material from your teacher, Don’t stress. There’s always room to improve, and after all you’ve just started. If the class is too easy after a while and your confident in yourself you may want to join a slightly higher level class.

Here’s a checklist of what you should remember while dancing:

.tuck in your butt, your pelvis, and tailbone

.stand up straight (no slouching)

.squeeze your legs together

.don’t sickle your feet

.turn out your feet

.round your arms

.release tension in your fingers

.keep your body straight when doing pliés

.lift up your head and slightly tilt it to the right

While doing Ballet it’s important to keep these simple rules in your head so that you succeed with your class. After a while of doing Ballet these rules should be stuck in your head. If you have free time you may like to consider practicing your exercises to get the technique in your head more and memorize them.

These rules are important because when you want to get into higher grade classes and still haven’t remembered them it’s harder to learn them.
