Thank you for coming to my presentation of learning. I am the expert on my own learning, responsible, and accountable for my progress. You can expect an honest evaluation of my achievements and areas for growth. We will discuss my strengths, opportunities for improvement, and my goals for the future. Thank you in advance for listening and offering feedback that I can use to improve as a learner.
Today I will discuss and go over the topic given to me by Ms. Maxwell: “How can I refine my vision, mission, and values to better achieve my vision?”
Here is my VMV from the start of the year with some annotated notes to help provide some context.

Explain The Photo (Going Into Details):
I think I’m doing very well at keeping up with my mission and am doing it all right, but I’m seeing quite a bit of struggle when it comes to the values. It starts off super strong with a 100 out of 100 because I truly believe that I have grown this year and really am comfortable with my agency, even to the point I would say that it’s one of my strong suits. But when it comes to self-regulation, I really struggle. For example, I gave myself a 20 out of 100 on the balance section because I don’t seem to balance my life well enough, and I don’t think I prioritize school to the level that teachers want me to, which is something I want to change. I want to be a good student; I just feel I will need to swap a different aspect of my life, but I have a hunch that that’s not true. When it comes to my preparation, you can see I’ve really struggled more than any other values I have. I’ve been experimenting with new strategies, but I feel I’m always busy working on something, so I never really get to fully understand or adapt to the habits I try and build—almost like a cycle that keeps feeding itself. I hope to break it soon. I do truly understand the importance of preparation and having good habits, so I plan to put limits on my social media and encourage myself to get back into things by using widgets and other reminders to use it.
What Will I Change:
I’m gonna reword my failing values then incorporate them so that they have a harder impact on me and I can apply them easier in my daily life just by following who I am.
1. Accountability: I will hold myself to the standard I want to achieve so that I always provide work I am pleased with.
1. Accountability: I will help & hold myself accountable to make work I’m happy with.
2. Balance: I will make a new school-life balance where I prioritize school to a higher degree than I have before.
2. Balance: I will prioritize school more while keeping a healthy mental state.
3. Working Strategies: I will develop new strategies that work for me and work on them if there are any issues.
3. Working Strategies: I will find what works for me and stick to it even if I gotta change what I got now.
4. Be Prepared: I will have lists for what I need to do before and after school to be prepared and ready.
4. Be Prepared: I’ll make a habit to manage my tasks in a day and check it a lot.
5. Time Management: I will set certain time frames to do what I need to do so that everything is done when needed.
5. Time Management: I’ll be smart and keep track of my day with schoolwork in mind when making plans.
6. No need for change; the only reason it’s not 100 out of 100 is because of things I can’t control.
Hopefully, that explains the VMV photo to some extent and answers the question that I was tasked with, so thank you for listening or reading, and have a great day!
