Once upon a time PLP 10 started a project. A health project.

Hi! This is my blog post for the most recent PGP/Maker project called healthy ever after. This was a relatively short project and it was sort of used as an introduction project for our Florida project. We were tasked to chose one out of three topics; physical health, mental health and health literacy. I chose mental health as it was the one I connected to the most.

I decided to focus on how consistency impacts your mental health and specifically how going outdoors consistently impacts and improves your mental health. We organized our ideas in a special type of organizer. The final product of this mini project was to create a video that would educate people about our topics.

In my video I talked about the benefits of going outdoors but also talking about how staying consistent can have benefits on your day to day life. I compared two different girls, one who went outdoors a little bit every day and one that went outdoors very sporadically in big chunks. I talked about how the girl who stayed consistent was able to complete everyday tasks easier and also was more mentally healthy versus the girl who was more sporadic had a tougher time sticking to scheduled and was less productive. I would highly recommend watching the video!

And they all lived healthy ever after!
