Me becoming a “photographer” in school!

Hello everyone! Welcome back or welcome to my blog! Well today I am gonna be talking about me adapting my skills and becoming a photographer! (Well not really a photographer).. in this project I have learnt how to use many different apps for colouring, adjusting and more!

Choose an item and shoot!

We were told to choose an item from the classroom and take different photos of it using angles and filters and lighting etc. in this activity I chose a magnet because I found that it was colourful and the colours went well with most things. Here is my work:

Cool textures.

With this assignment I learned that focusing and closing us cant hurt. Sometimes its good to  take risks and try something totally new! Here are my pics:

Silhouette shots

We were paired in two and took a picture of them standing behind a light to make the person darker than the background. I was partnered with Dylan! We went out into the hallway and took some photos… we turned the brightness down and contrast up to get the shadow affect.

Take a photo describing A word.

Our teacher gave us each individual cards with description words like.. fun, grumpy, mad, curious etc. We had to take a photo describing the word using lighting angles and more. I had the word distinguished btw.

I went over to my friends house because her house is very tidy and mine is not. I took a look around her house to find a small display table where the lighting was just perfect, I took the picture. I turned down the saturation and levelled up the definition to make it look sharp and professional.

Last but not least I made 3 gifs in keynote! We could choose whatever we wanted but it had to be some sort of transition of two photos we took. My blog for some reason wouldn’t keep the gifs moving so I made this video instead:

I really enjoyed this project throughout the long run and I cant wait to see you next time!

Cya 🙂
