LEARNING
The worst part, joking but it was long, there were multiple videos to watch as well as pages to read. Not to mention the notes we had to take as well. Though through it all, I came out with way more knowledge on WW1 than I had before. I learned about the Vimmy Ridge War the most because we had to do a presentation about one of the wars in a group. It was cool to see more of Canadas history.
MY STORY
My story was about a girl who decided she wanted to make a change in the war so she went to the vimmy ridge war and became a nurse. I wanted to do this story because everyone was doing men but women made a great difference as well. So I think its important to show everything.
FINAL PRODUCT
For the final product, which was making the comic, it was very time consuming, so even thought it was easy, it didn’t take way shorter than other things. I tried to make good drawings but it was also hard at times because my patience was going downhill. I had to cut my story down at the end as well becuase I didn’t have enough time to finish it. So the good thing was that I handed it in on time, but the bad news was it wasn’t my best work.
CONCLUSION
I think this project was a good way to open up myself to new skills and learn about WW1 especially because its such an important part of the worlds history. Even thought I didn’t deliver what I hoped I would, I still think I did a good job and I am happy.
