Welcome to another blog post with Jackson, today we are going to talk about a sport we made. Little do you know its harder to make a sport than you think. We used a new process to make this sport, it is called the launch cycle.

The first phase of the launch cycle is the LOOK,LISTEN AND LEARN.

Look, listen and learn: So for this I watched videos on differnt sports to see what go into a sport and what boundaries you need. I also needed to figure of what kind of sport I wanted to make like full contact or very strict rules on contact.

Then next phase is the ask questions phase.

Ask questions: For this phase I went around the class doing a survey on differnt sports they liked. Soccer and tennis were the one who came out on top. The next step was top gather info on those two sports, such as what is boring about them and what is interesting and then take that onto the next phase of the launch cycle.

Understand the problem:The next phase is to understand the problem so, pick out the most boring things and take those and try to make them fun and try to expand on the good. You also have to figure why people find that boring and what you can do to sway them into enjoying the sport.Navigate Ideas: My group had many ideas for the creation of the sport. Now it is the hard part trying to pick one of those ideas. So we decide to try to put as many of the ideas into one.

Create prototypes: This is the phase were we actually start building. This is our first prototype of creating a sport. Our first Idea was to just pass a whiffle ball back and fourth using squash rackets. In the end it turned into a lot more.

Highlight and Fix:  This is basically the revision phase, you keep what you like and take out what you dont.

Our sport is a mix of soccer ans tennis. So we have two goals at each end, and then you use rackets to hit a whiffle ball and try to score on the other persons net.
