Nirvana, most popular for their original sound known as grunge, was a heavy punk band originating out of Seattle, in the 1990s. They were famous for their original sound, but also for their image as a group who didn’t care what anyone thought of them.

To make this film we used footage we shot at the EMP in Seattle, Washington, tied together with voice overs done by us, and songs by Nirvana. We edited the movie into a smooth finished product using iMovie and Explain Everything (Both apps for IOS).

Nirvana could be considered cray cray because even when not everyone was appreciative of their sound or attitude, they continued to be the politically incorrect group they were, and eventually they caught on and earned success. They could’ve abused this fame like so many others have, but instead they used their popularity to promote causes they believed in, and inspire a generation.
