The Spring Exhibition 2022, What A Year

Hello, This will be one of my last blog post of grade 10. It has been a great year and I have learned so much. I have grown so much as a person and am edging closer to become an adult  and moving on to post secondary education. I am hopeful for the future, as for now I wraping up and tie up loose ends on my grade 10 year that includes writing a couple posts.

One of those loose ends is the Spring Exhibition portfolio post.

So lets jump straight into all the meat of this project for one of the last post of my Grade 10 plp experience. We each had to choose a community impact maker, I chose a deceased family member of mine Robert Bosinger an ex olympic skier who tragicly passed away in 2005. He left behind his Son Mats my cousin by marrige. Mats is graduating secondary school this year, he was 7 months when his father Robert passed away. He has grown to ski just like his dad.

I chose Robert becuase I think its very important to talk about the impact he had on young skiers. He coached many people when he was younger teaching them the ways to become a good skiler and nurture the passion.

I wanted to make sure people new the name Robert Bosinger. He did so much good for the multiple communities he was apart of. He changed so many peoples live. He even still receieves letter even after his passing.

So I made a portrait of him on my ipad using a digital drawing program called Procreate. I came out pretty well in my opinion. I presented this and shared the story of Robert to people so that they could see the change and impact he made.

I learned alot from this project I learned alot of new team work skills working with the grade elevens  and twelves. We collaborated to design a sort of themed area at our exhibition with the theme of sports. We were assigned these groups based on the impact maker we chose. We had so many great impact makers at this exhibition if you want to read others blogs abou there impact makers visit this link.

Any way lets move on to the final part of this post the reflection. I feel within my self that I did well I put all my reamining energy into that presentation if you read my Tpol post I explained how for the first time ever I experienced burnout. I have had no energy for a while now, how ever I powered throught and got to finish line. Now I have summer break I am going to use this time to recuperate my energy and prepare for this up ahead like me getting my learners or getting a job. Before I can do that I have to tie up the remaining loose ends of this school year starting with finishing my reflection on the exhibition. I think I did a splended job and now I can feel free knowing I represented rob to the best of my ability. I feel I did something amazing representing an ex olympic skier at a school exhibition it was a chance to do some great things. I dont really have much more to say. I dont have any photos to use as it was a wild night. All i can think to do is thank my teachers who have carried me to this point so thank you Mrs. Willemse, Ms. Maxwell, Mr. Hughes and Mr. Harris for carrying us this far now we have to take the final steps I have two years left then I am graduating. It feels unreal that it has come to this point it feels just yeterday I was in grade six without a care in the world.

Anyway taht has been me goodbye for now
