Nation X Reflection

THE WELL DESERVED FALL OF THE MONARCHY

When the Nation X activity commenced everyone was assigned their roles, some were lucky and were assigned positions of great power such as kings, tax collectors and guards others not so lucky and were forced to write about their daily lives I was assigned to be a simple store employee (store employees are also forced to write about their daily lives but they get payed slightly more than the scribes). This wasn’t the best role to be in so I tried to make the best of it but before I could even begin to do my job I was arrested as I had forgotten one of the most crucial laws in the game, don’t speak to people above you. I was stuck in jail for a whole day but I wasn’t the only one many people in the lower and middle class were unjustly arrested for the most idiotic of reasons but this wasn’t the last time corruption would be present in our society, not even close. The next morning I was released from jail and went back to my job but instead of working as a store worker I was forced to catch up to my duty of writing what happened during the past two days and while I was doing this the upper class simply enjoyed themselves and spent all the cash they had. Because of this a tax was implemented and the people forced to purely write about their daily lives (which were payed 1$ daily) were forced to pay a dollar a day effectively ridding them of all income. The scribes had already gone through a lot but this was just too far for them so they decided to start a revolution. The king knew about this as there’s another group who is payed to simply gather information on what the lower and middle class are planning but it was too late. The scribes and store employees crashed through the doors of the king’s castle and disposed of many higher class citizens. Shortly after this a horrible disease came to nation X and killed most citizens. The king’s nation had fallen, most politician’s and such had been disposed and the king himself was as broke as can be so he decided that as a last resort he would pass the throne and take the store owners offer to be bribed for the throne. And that is how the monarchy of nation X fell, the king was dethroned, the politicians were disposed of and a member of the lower class rose to power.
