Let’s Check My Old School Work!

Hi, this a post about me looking through all my school work and finding my top three favourite pieces that I have done. This is a post for the Student Bogging Challenge, and we got to chose what we wanted to write about.

Lets start

This is a poem I made in grade 5. We each created our own poetry books and filled them with different types of poetry, such a limericks, haikus, and (my favourite) blackout poems. This poem is a blackout poem. For these types of poems, we took a page from a book we were reading and had it photocopied. We then took a black pen and blacked out words and sentences, leaving only some words. This created our poem.

In grade 6, I decided to paint this First Nations art just because I wanted to. We were learning about the First Nations in class and I really liked their art style.

And finally, this is a piece I did in grade 8. This was my write up about how the medium influences the message. This piece of writing I spent 5 hours on because I didn’t understand what I had to do at first. We were supposed to write about what Marshal McLuan meant when he said “how does the medium influence the message?” We also had to connect it to The Gospel According to Larry. If you want to check out the project where this came from click here. Now check out the writing I did:

Medium is the Message

Thanks for showing interest in my old school work. I hope you enjoyed.

✌️bye.
