Our society relies on electricity to complete almost all modern activities. We rely on electricity for more than just charging our cel phones and running our computers. Television screens, airplanes, cars, video games, hospitals and even our school rely on electricity to work. Without electricity we would not have lights to allow us to work and live and have fun at any hour of the day we choose.
Electricity is essential to the modern world and humans would literally go back to the dark ages without it. Some ways we harness electricity is by using creating hydro dams, wind turbines, nuclear power plants, solar power plants as well. There are ways to make electricity more sustainable and renewable and environmentally friendly such as solar energy, geothermal energy, wind energy, ocean energy, bio energy. Another alternative is nuclear energy, which is a zero-emission clean energy source that creates electricity without the harmful byproducts emitted by fossil fuels.
