Hello and welcome or welcome back to my blog!

Recently in class, we have been doing a poetry unit! The driving question for this project was “How might I construct text that shows who I am right now?” During this project, we focused on al, things poetry. From how to read poetry, to how to present it well, we really learned it all.

Throughout this project, we created a total of nine poems. After we made them, we out them in a multi touch ebook unsung the app Book Creator. We were asked to make an about me page that included an about me video, a photo of ourselves, and to include a link to our blogs. On each page, we were told the poem, and some type of creative media, along with a voice clip that explains our poem and how it connects to our worldview. All of the poems that we had to write had to tie into our worldview in some way. 

 

I think that I could have done a better job of turning my poems in on time with them completed to their fullest potential. A lot of my poems that I turned in were very rushed, even after I had some time to work on them. I was procrastinating a lot during this project, and something that I think that would help is a schedule, a to do list, or the things app.

This a fun project that that we got to do, and I really gained a better understanding of how to write good poetry. At the start of this project, I wanted nothing to do with poetry, but now I actually like writing poetry, and I cant wait for more opportunities to write some poetry.
