Over the past week and a bit I have been working on my photo skills. I have made photos that show different shapes in them, photos that show depth and perspective, photos that divide it into different thirds to make I more interesting to look at, and photos that can show emotion. Over this time I have found three types of photos I find the most useful to me.

Showing emotion:

It can help tell a story with different emotions in a story.

Using perspective with foreground and background:

This skill helps to show scales of different objects and put things into perspective.

Making shapes in my photos:

Making shapes in photos can help show the symmetry of different objects in life.

The Driving Question was “How might I use the still image to create and communicate through technology?” I think that using still images to create and communicate is very important, because when people go on the internet they don’t want to read, giant, dictionary sized text bubbles. Being able to tell a story with images is very important now.
