Festival Research Cheese Rolling 🧀

Every year tons of people gather to watch others chase a wheel of cheese down a very steep hill. This practice is surprisingly dangerous, and known to cause injuries. This festival takes place at Cooper’s Hill in Gloucester, England.
The time it takes place is the first Monday of Spring Break.
The cheese weights 7-9 pounds and it is a circle of cheese. The cheese is coated in a wooden casing to protect the cheese as it rolls down the hill. In 2013 Caleb Stadler somehow managed to catch the cheese as it was rolling down the hill. The cheese can reach speeds of up to 40 km per hour, which is due to the hill being quite steep. This festival has existed for 2 whole centuries, and there has been many injuries, but I do not know if anyone ever lost their life chasing cheese down a hill.
