Blogging Challenge- day 8

Hey, welcome back! For this day of the blogging challenge, we had to use a random emoji generator and make a story out of it. I got a whale emoji, a football, a tortoise, a chicken leg, a cat, and two men holding hands. Quite strange but nonetheless I figured I could make an interesting story out of it. Hope it makes at least a shred of sense😅!

Once upon a time there was a purple whale. He was the king of the sea and loved by all. Everybody knew he was the best. He was friends with everyone and was constantly nice to everyone.

Every day he played football. He was the star linebacker of the pacific underwater football team. He was once quarterback but he switched to linebacker so someone else could have the thrill of a touchdown. He was known to be the kindest, smartest and best whale in the sea.

Until one day he came out. The ocean was NOT accepting of LGBTQ+ folks and he was shamed from society. He was banished from the ocean and ended up beached. Everyone knew that a beached whale was a doomed whale. However, a tortoise found him and helped him back into the water with his magic tortoise powers.

Because of that the whale and the tortoise were best friends. They shared a mutual love of chicken legs and constantly had picnics. The whale was always under the radar and careful to not be seen by anyone who knew him in the ocean.

Because of that he discovered a cat. The cat was swimming because the cat was magical. He had unlimited powers and granted the whale many wishes. The tortoise was quickly roped into getting wishes granted too. However, the one thing the magical act couldn’t do was make everyone forget the whale was queer. The whale spent many days thinking about a solution to the problem.

Until finally he came up with one. “Turn me into a human!” He requested.

The cat was surprised but he did so anyways. The tortoise quickly requested to be a human too. He and the whale were both humans now. The whale questioned why the tortoise wanted to be a human too. The tortoise, now a human, not tortoise turned very red and stammered out a love confession. The whale, now a human was very surprised. He thought his crush was unrequited. He confessed his crush and asked him out. The unlikely pair became boyfriends and lived happily ever after.

Well I sure hope that at least provided to be entertaining! It was fun to write and a strange but entertaining challenge. Check in in a couple for the summative post of a project that we’re almost wrapping up! Until next time, have a fabulous day/night!
