Introduction

We all know that your mindset matters for how you will make progress, but how much of this mindset is created through habits created at the start of your day? In the Healthy Ever After PGP project, it was our job to take an angle on an aspect of health and wellbeing, and create a charted plan for how to answer, research and communicate it.

The Workbook

The Healthy Ever After Workbook was a resource we used pretty much throughout the whole project, and it spans everything from an essential question regarding an aspect of health, for me being physical. My essential question was: “How can fitness be made consistent and achievable through daily choices”.

As you can see in the first column of the workbook, then I created a call to action, which is a reframing of this question: Create realistic goals that can be achieved throughout the day, and track your progress.

The next column of the workbook is devoted to giving both the audience and yourself a clearer, more specific idea and conclusion. In order to achieve this we created guiding questions that would be followed by research, and a research synthesis or statement. Below are my research notes.

Guiding Questions, Resources, and Informatio

Finally, the research conducted is placed into the research synthesis, which is shown in the second column below. This is where I develop a more detailed idea of what I want to communicate through the final part of this project, a video.

In the third column we created a solution statement, and since the solution is a video, it is a statement on what your video will entail. Next how you will implement and test this solution, and then the results of how it actually has been working for you.

The Solution (Video)

Now it is time for the final part of the solution, my video, which exemplifies what I want to truly communicate with my research, which is how important your environment is to your mindset for progress, and how much that mindset can be tarnished in the first hours of the day. I touch on important values and things I need to work on in my life like sleep, organization and balance. Here is the video!

As you can see, the video is a concise but effective way to show my perspective on what my own environment is like, and how I make it positive toward my mindset. Thanks for watching!
