Fire Fighter for a Day May 9

Come and play at Fire Fighter for a Day and learn all about a career in Emergency Services/First Responders.
Even if you are thinking of being a paramedic or RCMP, this is for you.

MUST be in grade 11 or 12—for Guys AND Girls.

Activities include wearing fire fighter equipment and entering  a smoke filled building, rappelling from a tower, trying the aerial truck, hoses and auto extraction equipment.

on the 2nd floor in the Teen Room at the North Vancouver City Library at 120 14th Street West & Lonsdale Avenue.

Learn job search skills, get help writing a resume, and get tips on how to prepare for your interviews. This workshop series is provided by the Vancouver YWCA’s WorkBC Employment Services Centre for North Shore Youth.
