Special Olympics Volunteer Job June 7th

Special Olympics BC – North Shore provides sport training and competition for all levels of athlete—from developmental to high performance. Over 170 athletes on the North Shore train and compete in local Special Olympics programs, and many go on to participate in regional, provincial, national and international competitions. Our North Shore Local is celebrating our 30 years of existence and we are hosting our ‘30 & Thriving Gala’ on June 7, 2014 to honor and pay homage to the athletes and volunteers that have been around for 30 years as well as celebrate that SOBC North Shore is 30 years old and still ThRIVING!  Most of the volunteers would only need to commit to that evening, most likely from 4pm – 10pm and for an hour the week before the event to do a walk through on site.  For more information on our local, please check out our website: http://www.sobcnorthshore.ca/
