Take a Closer Look at BCIT

Interested in being a BCIT Student for a Day? Thinking about applying to BCIT and want to make sure it’s for you? Want to test out a program that interests you by sampling what BCIT student life is all about?

If so, we invite you to spend a half day at BCIT. As a student for the day, individuals are paired up with a BCIT student currently enrolled in a participating full-time technology or trades program. The visiting student spends a half day at BCIT, and is exposed to everything from the BCIT lifestyle, to the campus, to the workings of the classroom in a field of their choice.

Participating in Student for a Day gives you the opportunity to get a feel for what life as a BCIT student is really like. The program runs from September-April, Monday to Friday and is available in the morning or afternoon, subject to program availability.

Before applying to be a BCIT Student for a Day, we encourage prospective students to learn more about BCIT.
