“Careers in Science” STEM lecture at Vancouver Aquarium

There will be a FREE ONLINE LECTURE about STEM careers from the Vancouver Aquarium on Friday, Nov.28th at 9am.

Four speakers who make their living in marine sciences, from educators to veterinarians, will be speaking about what they do and the steps they took to attain their positions.

If you or any of your classes would like to participate, simply logon to the Vancouver Aquarium Youtube channel  on the morning of Nov.28th, click on the “Careers in Science” link on the front page, and enjoy the 45 minute presentation.

Think you would benefit from talk to the speakers in person?

For a discounted rate of $15, individual students can sign up to part of the live audience in the Aquarium, and will have the chance to talk to the speakers following the presentation. Share this with teachers you feel are interested, though keep in mind, this is a space-limited opportunity. To register, click here.

If there are any questions, please contact us at education@vanaqua.org , with the subject line “Careers in Science”.
