Coast Capital Youth Get It Intern Program.


Calling all students that will be in gr. 11 & 12 in September 2019. Coast Capital has a great opportunity for you to get some great PAID work experience hours and great hands on experience.

We are currently recruiting for a new team of Interns to begin their one-year term on July 1st, 2019.   We are looking for students that will be entering grade 11 or 12 in September 2019.  There are a total of 12 positions for the Metro Vancouver/Fraser Valley region.  Application will be accepted from Friday March 1, 2019 to Friday April 1, 2019.

Med Ed Conference for students

Interested in becoming a health care professional?  Check this out!!


Lions Gate Hospital Foundation’s Youth Advisory Committee has organized an amazing Med Ed Conference for students on the North Shore that will feature talks from doctors and other health care professionals as well as a student panel of med students and residents. Each presentation will give insight into the process of becoming a health care professional through their personal journeys and will provide tips and tricks to get into med school as well as answer audience questions. The conference is on Saturday, April 13th from 8AM-1PM at the HOpe Centre. Tickets are $25, with all proceeds benefiting Lions Gate Hospital Foundation to enhance patient care at our hospital.
