The Port Moody Station Museum is excited to be offering a Unique Experience for your students! We are looking for volunteers to help with some events , and in exchange they will get the hours they need for school, have fun meeting new people and will also get a Unique Workshop in November. There will be two workshops to choose from. We will have an Indesign Workshop, where they will learn basic skills of how Indesign operates ( looks great on the resume) or they can take our Collection Management Workshop, where they will learn about creating exhibits, how to handle artifacts and how to manage a museum collection. As a team, the volunteers will then create an exhibition together!

Workshop Topics:

InDesign, basic layout skills or Collection management where students will curate their own small museum exhibition.  Includes planning, research and curating of artifacts.

20 Volunteer hours at the museum and during museum events.  Each volunteer must  work either at Easter (April 12) and/or Loco Festival (September 26/27)
