UBC Engineering for Girls.

Engineering events for girls!

UBC Engineering is making a difference in the world. Our Professors, students and alumni are devising solutions to real-world issues. Whether it is finding solutions for the climate emergency at the Clean Energy Research Centre, helping rebuild communities after international emergencies, like alumni Sara Badiei, or simply taking an Electrical Engineering course (ELEC 371) to develop hands-on solutions for medical procedures such as hip replacements. Engineering takes what we have learned from science and applies that knowledge to help people and improve the world around us.

We know that many of the girls that choose to study engineering do so because they want to make a difference and help people. UBC Engineering is encouraging even more girls to explore engineering as a career option and we hope you will help by sharing these exciting opportunities.
