Virtual STEM Competition

Virtual STEM competition offers big prizes for high school students

June 05, 2020

InspoScience Canada, a non-profit organization that aims to inspire and promote STEM among youth, has organized a virtual research & innovation competition for high school students.

Cash awards, patent grants, internships, and more than $2-million in scholarships are among the prizes for the best projects.

100 junior projects (grade 8-10) and 100 senior projects (grade 11-12) will be selected to participate in the 2020 edition of IRIC. Selected projects will be showcased in an online exhibition and compete for awards.

All students aged from 13-19, currently attending school in North America, and have a completed STEM project (alone or with one partner) are eligible to apply to and compete in IRIC. Applications will be open from June 01 to June 21, 2020.
